Mr. Toby Aykroyd (1955), United Kingdom, was educated St Catherines College, Cambridge University, UK, Macro-economics (first class) and Geography (graduate, MA) and the Cranfield Institute of Technology, Bedfordshire, UK , Master of Business Administration (Post-graduate).
He worded his motivation to be an ambassador for LHNet as follows:
"It is for me an honour to be asked to act as an ambassador to the Large Herbivore Network, and I will be very pleased to do all I can to help this excellent organization.
Not only does LHNet have a substantial track record in preservation and reintroduction of herbivore species across Europe and Asia, it accomplishes this within the vital context of valuing wild areas together with the integrity of their natural systems and habitats. As a strategy for large scale restoration develops across Europe, extensive herbivore grazing has a central role to play here in provision of naturalistic management to provide a sustainable, well connected mosaic of habitats that can maximise biodiversity potential whilst adhering to key wild area principles."
Mr. Aykroyd has a broad experience and extended network on supporting LHNet in its contacts towards other network of people and organisations.
