About
Hanneke worked at the education and communication department of several Dutch zoos and gained experience in the field during various voluntary jobs abroad as well. She was member of the Dutch Education Contact Group, responsible for the education in Dutch zoos and got involved with ECNC by writing a European zoo campaign proposal about ECNC's initiative Beautiful Europe.
LHNet is important and very worthwhile to support because it connects people and their knowledge to indicate gaps and identify challenges in large herbivore conservation. A - very large - group of animals often forgotten or taken for granted.
