About

Molecular and morphological approaches in microevolutionary studies on mammals. Our taxonomical focus is on ungulates (particularly cervids) and carnivores. We are conducting research in the fields of population genetics, molecular (intraspecific) systematics and phylogeography, developmental homeostasis and fluctuating asymmetry and conservation genetics. Further interests include the Quaternary distribution history of mammals and birds, ornithology (especially raptors) and the history and theory of (evolutionary) biology.
