
Eugene Wystorobets is a devoted jurist focused on the protection of nature. His working area covers especially the Russian regions, but he has also been active in e.g. CIS, Canada, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Wystorobets is motivated to become a member of our Network and based on the described laws he will do all he can to support protection of endangered species and their habitats.
Eugene Wystorobets wrote: Constitution of the Russian Federation 1993 says, that “Everyone shall have a duty to conserve nature” (Art 58). It states: “It shall be the concern of the authorities to keep the country habitable and to protect and improve the environment” (Art 21).
Number of wild industrial species have decreased in ten times for 40 years. I remember shops were overloaded with caviar and Saiga tatarica meat (1,43 rouble) which enrolled to many red books and became CITES objects now. To survive all humans have to care about nature’.
