About

Born in 1958 in Moscow (Russia), graduated from Moscow University in 1981 as invertebrates zoologist. Worked in Oceanology scientific Institute, then in 1988 changed to Environmental Ministry.
From 1995 till current time work as Senior Program Officer of TRAFFIC Europe-Russia/WWF-Russia.
The main professional interest is monitoring of and struggle against illegal trade in wildlife and also development of sustainable use of fishery and hunting resources as the main tool of their conservation.
