White Wilderness: Carpathian Wolf Watch - survey
In 2010 the Slovak Wildlife Society launched a ground-breaking project, that was commended by National Geographic Adventure Magazine as "Best New Trips for 2010". Two successful field seasons are completed and the project is due to run until 2014. If you're interested in carnivores, wildlands or reintroductions, you might like to hear about our "White Wilderness: Carpathian Wolf Watch" survey of wolves and lynx in the Tatra Mountains of Slovakia.

Species re-introduction assessments: bid for proposals
The Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) and WWF-Caucasus Programme Office are making a short-term consultancy announcement for feasibility study:
1. Reintroduction of bezoar goat in Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park, Georgia
2. Caucasian red deer (maral) in Dilijan National Park, Armenia
