Veerkracht, Allround Communications (The Hague) developed for LHNet a new logo, an important step for the new house stile.
The logo can be explained as follows:
"Green and brownish colours are the colours of the terrestial 'Biodiversity and Nature', section of ECNC, the facilitating organization of the 'Large Herbivore Network' - LHNet. The - extremely rare - European bison stands against a green background: its biotope. It represents the entire large herbivore group in Eurasia's extensive ecosystems/landscapes. It is a very prominent ambassador in brown. The head (skull) shows that the extinction of species is still a real risk. We have to avoid this, before it is too late.
Recent developments are proving that species as the European bison can be rehabiltated on the landscape level: millions of hectares, hunderd thousands of animals, the goal for this century. It is also a challenge to restore some breeds with the help of genes from the (domesticated) descendents of extinct animals. They can then follow in the footsteps of their extinct ancestors."
