Nature Needs Half

Nature Needs Half™ is an initiative of The WILD Foundation - A Voice for Wilderness, a bold, new, world-wide vision for conservation.

Working with many partners over the past year, the Wild Foundation developed substantive content, built excitement and expanded the idea, originally launched at WILD9, the 9th World Wilderness Congress (Mexico, 2009) as a new exciting vision for our planet. 

Protecting and interconnecting at least half of the planet, land and water, to support all life on earth is no small vision, but a new conservation vision with an inspiring combination of stunning photographs and powerful interviews.
